Artist's Description
This picture was taken at Lake Myvatn in Iceland in October 2017. We had a little display the night before, but as there was too much artificial light coming from the settlements in the area I knew I had to scout for a better place to capture the aurora! Next afternoon I walked around the lake until I found this section hidden behind a little hill covering up the road and the unwanted lights ... After the sunset, I was rushing back to my chosen position as the lights started to swirl around..when I tilted the display I saw a cat! Needless to say, I am a big cat lover - so I called it simply "Catrora".
