Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Sunrise shot at Stokksnes in Iceland looking at Vestrahorn mountain standing on frozen sand dunes... I was walking around on the black beach with the sand dunes very careful not to trample the fragile flora! I wish other people would be so respectful, too!
